Brazilian Ad Executive Settled in the U.S. to Join Conference at Festival

Virada Digital Festival, to be held on May 11th, 12th and 13th in Paraty (RJ) has confirmed the presence of Alessandra Lariu, Brazilian Ad Executive settled in the U.S. She will take part in the international conference “Entreprenourship and Digital Media: The Power of Women in a Network Society”, scheduled on Saturday (12th).

The conference will debate the relevance of women on digital media and their capacity of defining behaviors and tendencies. “Social Networking is perfect for women because it enables connections and the construction of identities, two strictly female behaviors”, says the ad executive.

Alessandra Lariu is SheSays co-founder, web site which helps women to jump start their digital creative carriers. Nowadays, she is Shout Portal’s Executive Director. With experience in agencies as McCann Erickson, in New York, she has lead award-winning campaigns for clients such as Nikon, Mastercard e Verizon. In 2010, she was elected among one of the top 100 most creative people in the world.
